So here's a guy who's scoured Google Maps looking for objects in the nearby (UK) landscape which closely resemble letters. He's got the whole alphabet done.. Neat concept.

Google Mapping the Swine Flu

Google maps (and Google Earth) have been used for some pretty weird things and let's file this under 'tracking the apocalypse'. Still, it's sort of neat to see how quickly the info gets Google mapped.
