Apple's iPhone 4 was just dealt a fairly significant blow, from a PR perspective anyway, as it's iPhone 4 can't be recommended by the leading consumer advice group. Consumer Reports does rate the other (read: non-phone) aspects of the device higher than any of its competitors, but was able to replicate the pesky antenna issue and thus directs users to the outdated iPhone 3GS if they want to make calls in an area of questionable AT&T coverage and don't wish to employ a bumper case of stick a bit of tape on the side.

As just about everyone knows, Apple is working on a software patch which will help the iPhone to correctly display signal bars but hasn't confirmed the antenna issue as a hardware design flaw.

If you're a car fan and have a Playstation, you're likely intimately familiar with the Gran Turismo series. You're also likely growing impatient waiting for the next full installment - Gran Turismo 5, a title which has been in the works for years, and has thus far produced nothing but a few isolated tech demos and screenshots.

E3 2010 brings some hope, however, in the form of a release date (November 2010) and a handful of gorgeous screenshots. There's also some amazing shots of the Top Gear test track - which will be fully simulated in the upcoming title.

So if you're itching for an update, I've got a couple of great links to check out...

Here's a batch of new screenshots from Kotaku which show the amazing day/night cycle as well as the Top Gear test track: Gran Turismo 5's Most Beautiful Screenshots Yet

From News.com; Step aside, Apple and Microsoft. If MIT's little Sixth Sense gadget sees the commercial light of day, we can toss our multitouch devices out the window. Who needs a Surface or an iPhone when the very idea of being able to access information by turning any flat surface into a touch-screen display sounds far more appealing? No surface available? Simply project a screen onto your hand, and voila. Shades of Minority Report?
